The region will continue to have cold temperatures with near freezing or below with wind chill through Monday, according to both the National Weather Service and AccuWeather forecasts.
Depending on which of two storm scenarios storms hit, the area could receive a dusting to three inches of snow by Friday into Saturday, according to AccuWeather and NWS.
Areas with higher elevation will receive the higher snowfall accumulations, but the freezing temperatures means the whole region should expect icy roads and conditions that cold led to health emergencies for humans and pets, according to NWS and Emergency Management HQ in Pennsylvania.
The predictions could change as the week goes on, meaning snowfall predictions may shift.
